Joining in this weekly exercise class. It's that easy.

Each class will be tailored to you and your painful/irritated joints. I'll watch your form, answer your questions, and set you up for success. 

This exercise class will be held via Google Meet will be held once per week on TUESDAY at 11 am Mountain Daylight Time so you can attend, wherever you live!

It will be led by me (Dr. Alyssa Kuhn, physical therapist and osteoarthritis specialist). I have led over 100 exercise classes for those with osteoarthritis and there have been some amazing results.

Even if you have bone on bone arthritis or have been told exercise will not help you. You will never know your potential unless you try.

You will get a fresh, new perspective on how to move with osteoarthritis and a new found confidence to be able to be as active as you want to be!

What equipment will I need?

No equipment is required. I do recommend that you get at least one set of weights appropriate for you fitness level. You can also use household objects like water bottles. You will want to make sure you have a space you can use where you can exercise while seeing the computer, phone, or tv.

What if I can't make the LIVE time? 

No problem, I upload the recordings the same day so you will have access to the recording of the class if signed up! You also have the ability to complete the workout throughout the week after the class is complete on Tuesday. 

How long will these classes be?

This exercise class will be 30-40 minutes including warm up and cool down.

Will there be modifications if I cannot do some of the moves?

YES! Please don't hesitate joining in fear you won't be able to keep up or do all of the moves. There will be a wide range of fitness levels in this group but all exercises can be modified to be easier or harder depending on what you need. You can also complete this class seated, although I do prefer standing if you are able. 

If I experience pain, should I stop the exercises?

When it comes to osteoarthritis, whenever you are trying something new, you may experience a little discomfort. A good rule of thumb that I like to use is anything above a 5/10 (0-10 pain scale of 0 meaning no pain, 10 meaning the worst pain you've ever experienced) is usually your joint telling you it's maybe had enough of that exercise and will require a modification. If you experience pain less than a 5/10, odds are your joint will be okay with it. 

It is important to pay attention to recovery as well. If you experience pain and/or swelling after activity, take it as a sign from your joint that you may have done too much. In this case, the next exercise class you will want to modify some activities and take breaks as you need to. You are asked to use your judgement and can ask any further questions in the support group discussion! 

How does the payment work?

You will be charged $80 every 4 weeks. This includes 4 classes, one each week. This will be a recurring charge until cancelling by emailing Alyssa ( At this time, you will not have the option to pay per class. This is because it is so important to be as consistent as possible. Recordings are available same day via a private Youtube link making it so easy to rewatch!
